To share the JOY and FUN of Judaism with every family in Essex County.

If your impression or experience with Judaism has been negative, confining ("too many rules, I need my freedom"), strict (you were forced to have some Jewish education or pushed to prepare for your Bar or Bat mitzvah), punishing or threatening ( if you don't do this..... there will be consequences), you are in for a big surprise. Because Judaism must be a celebration of  joy and happiness, great purpose and growth and a lot of love-and on Shabbat great food, l'chaims, singing , sharing and inspiration and FUN-really.

The Shabbat House may be the most revolutionary project that the Klars have created.  Their dream is that other Chabad emissaries will share their excitement so that Shabbat Houses will be made available in other communities throughout the world!
